Bali Scooter Rental Prices in 2026 — What You Should Actually Pay
Rp 70K bikes that cost you more, tourist markups, deposits, and the discounts that matter: an honest breakdown of scooter rental pricing in Bali.

Search "scooter rental Bali" and you'll find prices from Rp 50.000 to Rp 500.000 a day. Both numbers are real; neither tells the truth. After four years of renting bikes in Gianyar, here's the honest math.
Fair 2026 daily rates, by bike class
- 125cc retro scooters (Honda Stylo, Yamaha Fillano/Fazzio): Rp 100–130K/day. We charge Rp 110K.
- 150–160cc maxi scooters (NMAX, PCX): Rp 130–170K/day. We charge Rp 140–150K.
Below those ranges, something is subsidizing the price: bike age, skipped servicing, no included gear, or fees that appear at handover.
The discounts that actually matter
Length beats haggling. Our discounts apply automatically:
- Weekly (7+ days): −10% → an NMAX week is Rp 945.000 instead of Rp 1.050.000.
- Monthly (30+ days): −20% → a monthly NMAX is Rp 3.600.000, an effective Rp 120.000/day for a 155cc bike delivered to your villa.
No codes, no negotiating theater — the pricing page shows every number before you book.
What should be included (and with us, is)
- 2 helmets + 2 raincoats — free, always. Renting helmets separately is a red flag.
- Delivery — free across Ubud, Pejeng & Gianyar Town; small transparent fees further out (see zones).
- A real service history — 2024–2025 bikes, dealer-serviced between rentals.
The costs nobody advertises
1. Deposits: normal and fine — ours is a simple guarantee agreed at handover. Walk away from anyone demanding your original passport as collateral; a copy is standard practice.
2. Fuel games: some shops hand over a full tank and charge premium rates for what's "missing" at return. Our policy kills the game: return with any fuel level — what matters is the bike comes back complete and undamaged.
3. Damage disputes: we photograph the bike together at handover. Insist on this anywhere you rent.
4. The 'cheap bike' tax: a Rp 70K scooter with tired brakes on the Kintamani descent isn't a bargain. It's a bet.
The bottom line
For a well-maintained late-model scooter with gear included and delivery to your door, expect Rp 110–150K/day, minus 10–20% for longer rentals. That's the honest market — and exactly what our fleet costs. Book in 2 minutes; the price you see is the price you pay.
